Spring Trip :)
We had been talking about taking a Trip to Vegas for a while now. This past weekend Chris saw a cheap last minute deal to fly into California, so since we have friends in Orange County we booked the flight, I asked off work and we left the next morning! When we got to the airport and checked out our rental car, the man at the counter asked me if we were here for a special occasion and I relied,"just for fun". He replied, oh so your going to Disneyland? OMG! My eyes lit up like the 4th of July! Chris was like... baby, is that what your wanna do? I'm jumping for joy like a little kid, yes yes yes! I would love to go to Disneyland!!!
So, of course you know, it was the first place we hit :) We took pictures with the characters and rode the rides, we had prefect timing because each line was only about a 20 minute wait, which was awesome. The weather was amazing and the food was good too!
After Disneyland we went to Venice Beach, got a hotel on the water and just hung out. The next morning we walked down the beach and I saw some crazy stuff! There were homeless people everywhere, talking to themselves, playing baseball with a broom and tennis ball... it was crazy! Just like when you see it on TV, I couldn't believe my eyes. We checked out of the hotel and went to see the hot spots, Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Rodeo Dr. I saw a 172 THOUSAND DOLLAR purse... can you believe that? Who would spend that kind of money on a purse?
We also hung out with some friends on the yacht, Chris and Dianne, they were great hosts! We took a ride down the coast and had dinner. It was nice to be on the ocean, so peaceful! Then it was off to Christian's house to stay the night. He lives in the same neighborhood as Tiger Woods! He over looks the ocean at Laguna Beach, most amazing thing! I would love to wake up to that every morning!
It was off to Vegas on Sunday morning and the drive was long but we keep good conversation going and listen to the comedy radio on the XM stations, funny stuff! Along the way we went to the Hoover Dam to check it out, pretty cool. Then when we got to Vegas we had just enough time to get ready for our show, we saw the Elvis Cirque Du Soiel that night and the next night it was The Blue Man Group and Phantom of the Opera! All the shows were amazing. My favorite was Blue Man Group and hanging by the pool, we wore SPF 70, so we wouldn't get burned! Smart kids :) i know!
The trip was amazing and on Tuesday we drove back to California to catch our flight home, oh and I forgot to mention the best place to eat, and we ate there atleast once a day if not twice... IN-N-OUT BURGER! Wow... it was awesome, and we hear that its coming to TEXAS :) They have confirmed the Firewheel Mall as a location!
Here are some pictures of the trip! It was so much fun!!

Happy Mothers Day!
Ohhh :) I like to think of myself as a pretty amazing daughter, but on this one... I couldn't have had help with out my sisters being a huge part of my plot for our Mothers Day present. And!! Of course the wonderful photographer, Mandie McMurdie ( you can find her at mandiemcmurdiephotography.blogspot.com)
She was completely amazing, worked with my schedule and help me get everything prefect for Mothers Day! I highly recommend her.
My mom was in tears when she went through all the pictures we got taken, the main point was to focus on Madison, the youngest. She is so beautiful and growing up so fast, I wanted to catch her childhood "inner diva" as she would say, before it was gone. Here are a few of the pictures we had taken...

Drive way repair
Slowly but surely we have been cleaning up the house, remodling and doing repairs. The drive way was my idea to get a some concrete and do a temporary fix. Chris wants to redo the drive way, add a circle drive and landscaping but not right now... so for now, this is what we did! It was hott, messy, and then it rained on us... not such a great finished product but we had fun working together as a team. We had to cover the concrete with a tarp because it started raining but before we did that.... we put our mark in it :)
Here are some pictures...

The Latest!
Many of you know I have recently had to grow up alot... with house and a boyfriend to take care of and man it is work!! I have always dreamed about having a beautiful house and cleaning it, doing lawn work and just being a prefect "house wife", well this weekend I got a nice taste of whats its like...
Here are some before and after pictures...ive never worked so hard in my life :) and a special thanks to my sisters, they were WONDERFUL :) and of course Christopher, he did alot of slaving on the lawn mower and trimed a million trees!
We actually had rose bush's, and you couldnt even see them! It was crazy how much work we had to do, and I gauranty that I will not let it get like this as again! The worst part is that i didnt even notice it was so bad because our schedule is so busy we never look at the front of the house!
There will be more to come, this was only a start...
